Leadership
Aerospace engineers, robotics researchers, and enterprise technology leaders united around a single mission: making autonomous drone operations reliable and accessible for industrial enterprise.
Co-Founder & CEO
Oltan brings over 14 years of aerospace systems engineering experience, including work on autonomous flight systems for defense applications. He founded Skymod after identifying a significant gap in enterprise-grade commercial drone platforms for industrial inspection and logistics. Oltan holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Head of Autonomous Systems
Marcus leads Skymod's core autonomy stack, including GPS-denied navigation, obstacle avoidance, and multi-drone swarm coordination algorithms. Previously, he spent eight years as a robotics researcher at Carnegie Mellon's Field Robotics Center, focusing on aerial robot perception in unstructured industrial environments. Marcus holds a PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
VP of Enterprise Solutions
Sandra oversees enterprise sales, customer success, and deployment operations. She has spent over a decade working at the intersection of industrial operations and emerging technology, including roles at Baker Hughes and Honeywell Process Solutions. Sandra specializes in helping large energy and construction organizations navigate operational technology transitions.
Working at Skymod
We are a small team solving hard problems in a fast-moving space. If you have deep expertise in robotics, computer vision, embedded systems, or enterprise software — we want to hear from you.
We're seeking autonomy engineers with experience in real-world aerial robotics deployments in GPS-degraded or GPS-denied environments.
Machine learning engineers focused on real-time image analysis for anomaly detection in industrial inspection scenarios are a priority hire.
Experienced enterprise sales professionals with a track record in energy, construction, or logistics technology are encouraged to connect.
